Hidden Love Medical Relief Fund is not a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. It is simply a short-term trust established by a group of concerned and caring friends, fans and fellow artists of Peter Case who understand that all of us need help at some time or another in this life, and that the act of Love, while frequently Hidden, most often consists simply of doing our best to help each other out where, when and how we can. All contributions to Hidden Love and proceeds from the Hidden Love Benefit Concert will go directly to paying Peter's medical expenses. In this case, Peter needs our help. He has devoted his life and career to creating and sharing his art, music and songs with us, as well as advancing the careers of other talented musicians. Indeed, his contributions to the legacy of american music have not only been substantial, but will continue to increase in the coming years. Most of us have little opportunity to show our gratitude for Peter's dedication and his work's impact on our lives. The Hidden Love Medical Relief Fund exists for a single purpose – helping alleviate the medical costs incurred by singer-songwriter Peter Case due to an unanticipated hospitalization, emergency heart surgery and necessary aftercare earlier this year. Peter does not have a terminal illness and is not sick. But, like so many professional musicians and other artists who grace our culture and lives with their work, Peter is uninsured. And, while it is somewhat obvious, the medical bills for this unexpected but necessary medical treatment are and will be substantial.
